Film Festival
Convention Fest will feature its first ever FILM FESTIVAL at the iconic Miller High Life Theatre. Films will be shown indoors, along with panels and discussions!
Monday’s feature film will be Liberty at Stake: The Joshua Glover Story. This mini documentary details how the arrest and rescue of a fugitive slave in Wisconsin was a catalyst for historic national events.
Tuesday’s feature film will be Rigged: The Zuckerberg Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump.
Wednesday will be the WORLD PREMIERE of Trump’s Rescue Mission. We highly encourage you to arrive early, as seats will go quickly!
Thursday’s feature film will be Government Gangsters.
Convention Fest
Convention Fest will be located within the secured Convention Complex perimeter, approximately a 5-minute walk from the Fiserv Forum. Convention Fest will be open from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM each day, July 15 through July 18. The official inner security perimeter transportation system, the Trump Trolley, will also be available on a continuous loop during Convention Fest hours from the Fiserv Forum to Convention Fest.
Convention Fest will have a stage with programming such as musical acts, speakers and more! The Convention Fest stage is brought to you by America First Policy Institute, who will host several speakers throughout the week. Stay tuned for speaker updates! Otherwise, local musical talents such as the Polka Kings, Catelyn Huckstep, and Rebel Grace will perform at Convention Fest!
Convention Fest will feature an outdoor vendor marketplace, with food, beverage, retail and MORE! Our indoor exhibit partners will include an Oval Office Replica, a Salute to Service, and so much more. Convention Fest will feature a UPS Store to ship items home, or onsite locker storage! Baseball Game
The Milwaukee Brewers play the Washington Nationals on Sunday, July 14 at 1pm. We are interested to know how many people are interested in attending.

Most people will be wearing business casual clothing. Make sure to have comfortable shoes. There will be a lot of walking and standing.
At our Thursday luncheon we will be playing laser tag, WhirlyBall, and bowling dress appropriately

A clear plastic bag will be provided in your delegate gift bag. That will be the only bag allowed to enter the Fiserv Forum.
For your safety, only wear your tickets within the Convention Complex.For volunteer ease and uniformity, the official lanyard must be utilized within the Convention Complex. Do not post pictures of your tickets. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.

Delegate Survey
As we gear up for the Republican National Convention we need your input to plan for the experience. Your answers and preferences shape the direction of our party committees and planning for the event. Please take a few moments to complete this survey.

Delegation Chair?
The Delegation Chair is elected by and from the delegates. We will hold a formal election.
Duties:

Announces state’s delegate votes at the convention during the roll call.

Forwards the names of the newly elected national committeeman and national committeewoman to the secretary of the national convention.

Presides over any delegation meetings, such as to fill a vacancy or elect convention committee members.

Permanent Organization
Committee Membership:
Chair and Co-Chair: Appointed by RNC Chair.
1 male and 1 female delegate elected by each state delegation. Generally, no alternates serve on committees and each delegate can only serve on one committee. Substantive work of convention committees takes place week prior to Convention.
Platform:
Drafts and adopts the Republican Party Platform detailing the values, ideals, and positions of the Republican Party. This committee is the first to meet and takes up the most time. Members of this committee should plan on arriving in Milwaukee the week before the convention begins.
Credentials:
Hears appeals on delegate contests and certifies the names of the delegates and alternate delegates as the Permanent Roll of the Convention. Members of this committee should plan on arriving in Milwaukee around Wednesday, July 10.
Rules and the Order of Business:
Considers amendments to and adopts the Rules of the Republican Party, which contain the rules for the election and government of the Republican National Committee; the procedures of the Republican National Convention; and the process for the election, selection, allocation, and binding of delegates to the next national convention. Members of this committee should plan on arriving in Milwaukee around Wednesday, July 10.
Committee on Permanent Organization:
Forwards the list of convention officers to the convention delegates for ratification. This committee requires the least amount of time.
Committee Schedules:
The committee schedule will be released mid-June but committees meet before the convention begins. Which means you may need to be in Milwaukee by Wednesday, July 17.
Transportation?
The Utah Republican Party has rented 3 buses to take our delegation from our hotel to our lunch venues, then to the convention area and back to our hotel at the end of the day. If you would like to go to other locations during the convention or do not want to return to the hotel with our delegation in the evenings plan on getting an Uber/Lyft/Taxi at your expense.
Attire?
There is no specific dress code for the convention, most people will be in business casual attire. Wear comfortable shoes that you can walk in all day.
Guest?
National Delegates will be able to bring a guest.
Alternate National Delegate need to make a request for a guest pass. The Utah Republican Party cannot guarantee a guest pass will be provided.
All guests will need to pay the convention fee. If a guest needs their own hotel room they will need to pay the hotel fee as well.
Departure?
The National Convention will end around 10pm on Thursday, July 18. Plan on flying out Friday, July 19.
Meals?
The hotel is providing breakfast every morning.
Dinner will be provided Sunday, July 14.
Lunches will be provided Monday - Thursday during the convention.
You are responsible for your own dinners Monday - Thursday.
Arrival?
The Utah delegation will have a welcome reception Sunday, July 14 at 4pm followed by a Republican National Committee reception. Please arrive in Milwaukee (MKE) midday on Sunday July 14 so that you can make it to these events. Plan on taking an Uber/Lyft/taxi from the airport to our hotel.
If you are a member of a committee (Platform, Credentials, Rules and Order of Business or Permanent Organization) then you will need to arrive in Milwaukee before the convention begins, possibly a few days. You will receive information from the RNC about when the committees meet.
